Meeting in Rzeszów – CONVET – ECVET for recognition of qualifications in construction sector
On 10th and 11th February 2014, the Center for Education and Enterprise Support acted as the host at the first meeting in framework of CONVET project. It was a great responsibility and satisfaction, as the Association acts as the coordinator of the project. We hosted partners from Bulgaria, Greece, Spain and the UK.
Workshops for learners „Fight with violence in the school”
The next cycle of workshops entitled “Fight with violence in the school” has been launched in High School No 1 and Complex of Technical Schools in Łańcut. These workshops are carried out within the project ” CyberMentors Europe ” and are aimed at young people aged 11 to 17 years of age. The main aim is to make them aware in area of threats in daily life and virtual world but also to learn them proper behaviour allowing to stop negative phenomena regarding young people.
Projekt EPIC – Wzmacnianie i promocja międzynarodowej komunikacji biznesowej jest projektem realizowanym przez Danmar Computers wspólnie z partnerami europejskimi w ramach Programu Leonardo da Vinci Transfer Innowacji. Jego głównym celem jest zaimplementowanie w 4 krajach (Polska, Litwa, Hiszpania: region Basków, Włochy: Sycylia) programu audytu zdolności językowych oraz komunikacji w MŚP, co pozwoli na identyfikację i usunięcie barier językowych i kulturowych, które wynikają z handlu transgranicznego zwiększając tym samym ich konkurencyjność. Pierwszym elementem aplikacji takiego podejścia jest dokonanie analizy sytuacji gospodarczej danego kraju w powiazaniu z kondycją eksportu. Dopiero na tej podstawie możliwe jest określenie jak sytuacja taka powinna wyglądać docelowo w danej firmie.

Od pierwszego Międzynarodowego Dnia Ochrony Danych Osobowych 28 stycznia jest dedykowany realizacji działań edukacyjnych mających na celu zachęcenie ludzi do ochrony swojej prywatności i danych osobowych podczas korzystania z Internetu, przede wszystkim podczas dokonywania zakupów produktów i usług w sieci.

European Project identifies Data Privacy Day as an opportunity to focus on the needs of Young People
Since the first International Data Privacy Day in 2006, 28 January has been dedicated to the effort of empowering and educating people in the protection of their privacy and personal data whenever surfing or purchasing goods and services on the net.
Project description:
The main result of the project was a web-based application containing a module that was used to compare existing qualifications with the content of ECVET training. Moreover, in the framework of the project reports and dissemination materials were developed. Soft outcomes of the project were: the knowledge of ECVET, the ability to analyze training programs, better offer of training institutions, which would positively impact the mobility of workers in the construction sector and increased number of workers legally taking up employment in member countries.
Target group
Workers in the construction sector, in particular people working on concrete constructions, hydraulics, together with those dealing with maintenance and repair of buildings and their energy efficiency improvement.

The homelessness among young people is first of all an alarming phenomenon[1].
As a social problem, the homelessness itself, most frequently perceived as a problem affecting people around 50 year of age; the males more often than females. When the problem in question is considered in the context of children, it meets not only with the barrier connected with acceptance of possibility of existence of such a phenomenon, but also with barrier of reliability of data concerning the scale and range of such a homelessness. The aim of this study is to present the figures confirming the existence and to show the scale of the phenomenon of homelessness of children and teenagers in Poland on the basis of the results of National Census of Population and Housing conducted in 2011.[2].
This article was written as part of an international research project entitled: “A Study Relating to Children Rough Sleepers who are Runaways & Homeless and Victims of Sexual Exploitation/Abuse & other Violence on the Streets and Development of Knowledge Transfer Activities that Improve Services & Policies to Support & Protect these Vulnerable Children” carried out by the “Centre for Education and Enterprise Support” in Rzeszów, together with partners from nine European countries within the framework of the Daphne III Program under the supervision on University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom).
Problemy szykanowania i przemocy, z jakimi spotkać się mogą w środowisku młodzi ludzie są szczególnie przykre jeśli nie może on ich rozwiązać sam. Jak udzielić fachowego wsparcia, wskazać ścieżkę wychodzenia z błędnego koła agresji oraz jak to zrobić przy pomocy Internetu uczyli się moderatorzy, doradcy, trenerzy i mentorzy na zorganizowanych w dniach 29-31 października br. warsztatach. Przedstawiciele brytyjskiej organizacji BeatByllying, specjalizującej się w ochronie dzieci i młodzieży w Internecie, uczyli jak wykorzystać model wsparcia, który sprawdził się w Wielkiej Brytanii. Warsztaty odbyły się w ramach projektu „CyberMentor Europe” realizowanego w ramach Programu Daphne III. Kolejnym krokiem będą warsztaty edukacyjne dla młodzieży organizowane w szkołach.
The problems of persecution and violence, which young people can encounter in their own environment, are really painful experiences, especially, when youngsters are not able to deal with them on their own. How to give the professional support, show the way out of the vicious circle of aggression and how to do it with the use of Internet? All these aspects were taught during the workshops for moderators, advisers, coaches and mentors lasting from 29th to 31st of October of this year. The representatives of British organization ‘BeatBullying’ specializing in protection of children and youngsters in the Internet, were teaching how to use the model of support which proved useful in Great Britain. The workshops were held within the “CyberMentor Europe” project, realized as a part of Daphne III Program. The next step will be the educational workshops for young people carried out in schools.
Powody, dla których dzieci tracą swój własny dom i stają się bezdomne są w wielu krajach zbliżone do siebie. Problemy pojawiające się w rodzinach, nasilające się dysfunkcje w tych komórkach społecznych oraz pojawiające się nierzadko patologie są głównymi czynnikami sprawczymi zjawiska bezdomności dzieci. Do takich wniosków doszli uczestnicy spotkania partnerskiego w ramach projektu Children Rough Sleepers, które miało miejsce w dniach 21-22 listopada br. w Leiden w Holandii. Partnerzy prezentowali wyniki przeprowadzonych badań wśród instytucji zajmujących się dziećmi nie mającymi swojego domu oraz wśród samych dzieci. W większości krajów badania już się zakończyły, a obecnie trwa tłumaczenie wywiadów. Przygotowanie raportu na temat zdiagnozowanej sytuacji planowane jest na styczeń 2014 r.
The reasons why children lose their own home and become homeless in many countries are similar to each other. Problems in families, escalating dysfunction in these cells and emerging social pathologies often are the main causative factor of homelessness among children. These conclusions were reached by participants of the meeting a partner in the project “Children Rough Sleepers“, which took place on 21-22 November in Leiden (Netherlands). Partners presented the results of studies conducted among institutions dealing with children not having their home and among the children themselves. In most of countries the research have already finished, and now takes the translation of interviews. Preparation of a report on the diagnosed situation is planned for January 2014.
W dniach 24 i 25 października odbyło się spotkanie w ramach projektu IOR. Obecni byli przedstawiciele wszystkich partnerów z wyjątkiem patnerów z Bułgarii i Finlandii.
Spotkanie rozpoczęło się rejestracją, po której uczestników przywitał Prezydent Prowincji Rimini, Pan Stefano Vitali. Podkreślił jak ważny jest projekt i zachęcił do zwiedzenia historycznej części miasta. Następnie rozpoczęły się prezentacje partnerów, którzy pokazali jakie sieci społecznościowe są przez nich animowane i z jakimi wynikami. Większość partnerów uzyskała najlepsze rezultaty za pośrednictwem Facebook’a. Pozostałe sieci są również popularne, ale generalnie mniej niż oczekiwano. Pojawiły się również trudności w raportowaniu statystyk, gdyż nie wszystkie sieci udostępniają odpowiednie do tego celu narzędzia. Prezentacje trwały do godzin wieczornych.
On 24 and 25 October took place an additional meeting in framework of the IOR project. All partners except Bulgaria and Finland attended the meeting.
The meeting began with registration and then the participants were welcomed by the President of the Province of Rimini, Mr. Stefano Vitali. He stressed the importance of the project and encouraged to visit the historic city center. Then began the presentations of partners who have demonstrated which social networks are animated by them, and with what results. Most of the partners obtained the best results through Facebook, other networks are popular in varying degrees, but generally less than expected. There were also difficulties in reporting statistics, not all social networks provide suitable tools for this purpose. Presentations lasted into the evening.
