3rd issue of BADGE project newsletter

Together with Danmar Computers we present the third Polish issue of a newsletter for project BADGE – Business Advice and Guidance training for women Entrepreneurs. Inside you’ll find a preview of the second pilot Diversity in Business workshops, a teaser of the LMS platform – the main outcome of the project and an excerpt from a study of the usability of income among women entrepreneurs compared to women who are not and not planning to become one.

Lewisham team began working with organizations and individuals in the UK, sending them information about the ET-NEETS project and initiating discussions on the theme of the project and the benefits it can bring. Most of our contacts are with organisations who work with young people in the field of democracy, supporting young people in decision making processes in different ways. As part of this work the issue of employment and access to opportunities is something that the young people talk about so many have projects around employability.

CONVET E-tools –  First look

CONVET E-tools – First look

Convet E-tools is collection of tools and materials for pioneers. It was created to make process of finding key partner for companies easier and more organized.

Tool is divided into three ready to use parts:
1. Support for pioneers – includes:
a) Stakeholders Database – contains list of added organizations.
b) Pioneer Action Plan – independent tool which helps user to organize his actions regarding to all of stakeholders.
c) Activity reports – is strictly connected to Stakeholders Database tool. Activity report can be added only if at least one of stakeholder is added.
d) Reports – This section is summary of all inserted stakeholders and their activity reports.
2. VET Exchange – Vet Exchange tool is providing system of communication between all registered users. It’s working on standard internet forum rules.
3. ECVET Materials – ECVET Materials is nothing else like a e-book which contains ECVET Learning Materials.

2015 is a key year for the eradication of poverty

In February 2015, the European Commission has expressed itself on the actions that need to be taken in order to eradicate poverty in the world.

“The year 2015 will be crucial for the international community. The eradication of poverty and the world introduction to the path of sustainable development is our main challenges. The realization of these objectives is also in our own interest. The EU will continue to cooperate constructively with its partners in the upcoming negotiations and is ready to fully live up to its role in the implementation of this agenda. “

TAP project: The second meeting of partners

TAP project: The second meeting of partners

In March, partners met in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Besides standard management and administrative issues, the most important topic were results of recently conducted research with people living in poverty or that are threatened with poverty and with representatives of social institutions working in the field of combating social exclusion. The research shows that in each country the problem of poverty exists, even in Netherlands which is seen as a country with high living standards. The results of research will be included into publications which will be soon prepared by partners. An important point of the meeting was subject of dissemination. Partners reviewed up to date dissemination and planned next activities aiming about informing about the project.

convetCWEP Association is currently participating in CONVET project. It’s aim is to enable mutual recognition of qualification in the construction sector in European countries. Vocational education segment relies on ECVET system which has not been fully implemented in all countries.

Experts’ work in CONVET project

Experts’ work in CONVET project

Experts from the construction sector have quite a challenging job in CONVET project that our association coordinates. For some time now a throughout analysis of professional qualifications of people working in the construction sector is being carried out. Not long from now, a first version of the “comparison tool” will be launched, which will present both commonalities and differences among official vocational qualifications. The subject matter is the qualification of electricians, masons, painters and plumbers working in countries taking part in the project, namelu Bulgaria, Greece, Spain and Poland.
