A complex of schools in Vila Verde – a picturesque village on the north of Portugal, is the place where both teachers and students are involved in fighting cyberbulling. That was the place where project partners met to work on the implementation of the project. The meeting started with the presentation of school and its problems with cyberbulling, next prior LTTA and questionnaires results were presented and discussed. Last point on the agenda was a visit in the Town Hall and the meeting with the Councillor for Education. Continue reading

Project description:

The project aims to develop an innovative pedagogy for delivering key Financial Literacy competences to children (3-6 years old), based on an interactive learning eBook, that may be used in formal, non-formal and informal learning settings.

The main effect of the ill be an interactive learning eBook, as well as workshops present and train the teachers, trainers and parents how to use the interactive materials, pilot trainings and dissemination tools: information website & social media.

Financial education is an increasingly important topic in the EU, especially since the 2008 crisis. In recent years, many Member States adopted its framework and defined learning objectives from kindergarten till adulthood, to increase the low levels of financial literacy and thus – to improve the lives of citizens. Financial education includes a wide set of skills and knowledge, and is of vital importance to have independent and active European citizens attitude.

Main output of the project will be an Interactive Book for the Financial Education of Chil-dren, as well as management documents, ensuring effective project implementation.

Last Bevin project meeting

The fourth international meeting of BEVIN project partners took place in Riga on September 1st and 2nd. The first day of the meeting, started by partners from Poland and Latvia, was a discussion on the results. All partners then spoke on the final report, afterwards summarizing the first day of the meeting providing questions and answers.

The second day of the meeting started with a discussion on the current and future dissemination activities. The partners also addressed Multiplier Events and evaluated the activities that have been carried out so far in the project.

Gamification and entrepreneurship – the dissemination conference under the project “Gamify Your Teaching”

Under the motto “Gamify Your Teaching – raising professional qualifications of entrepreneurship teachers using gamification”, the project dissemination conference was held in Rzeszow on 30th June 2017. It gathered 50 participants, including representatives of 6 universities from the region, 7 schools of different levels, training institutions and youth associations. The purpose of the conference was to present the project’s assumptions, its effects, including the research conducted at its beginning, and to present the participants an online game supporting the entrepreneurship education.
