Towards Combating Adults’ Internet Addiction
Learn about internet addiction – how to recognise its symptoms and effectively support those affected by this problem. The training combines theory with practice and is available online, free of charge, in several languages.

Who is it for?
The training is aimed at adult educators, people with low qualifications, the unemployed, adults in disadvantaged financial situations, and others interested in the proposed topics.
Duration of training
The training takes the form of individual learning using digital educational materials developed as part of the project. This format allows the pace of learning to be flexibly adapted to the needs and abilities of the participant.
Aims of training
The training is both theoretical and practical.
After completing the training, participants should have acquired knowledge about:
- Techniques for recognising the symptoms of Internet addiction
- Types of Internet addiction and assessment of its severity
- Rules and methods for conducting supportive conversations with adults addicted to the Internet
- Mindfulness techniques and other methods for increasing self-awareness

Training resources
Participants gain access to a practical guide consisting of content and exercises that provide knowledge about techniques for recognising and responding to Internet addiction.
An additional training resource of the IADliber project is a mobile application that contains action cards with brief instructions and quizzes to test knowledge, and once downloaded, it works without an Internet connection.
